1907

Our roots date back to 1907 when the first generation of our family, with Panagis Kappatos being the head of the house, started selling their extra milk by carrying it from Dilinata, their village, to Argostoli on a daily basis.

Both the quality of the milk and our family’s commitment to it’s preservation lead to an increase in milk consumption, which led to our family’s moving to Argostoli.

1910

Three years later, in 1910, and with our family all settled down in Argostoli, Kefallonia’s first candy shop is being launched, under the name “Voskopoula”.

From selling milk our business grew and started to include the islands traditional sweets to it’s menu.

Today

The one generation hands the business down to the next generation and now the fourth one has the wheel.

In the course of our history “Voskopoula’s” character and values have remained the same. We still produce our products with the finest and purest ingredients and make sure we offer them fresh to locals as well as the visitors of our island.

With over 100 years of experience we can reassure you that quality is no secret, but there’s a secret to quality!
